    • What type of accommodation is this?
    State owned hotels preserving buildings of historic interest or promoting tourism in areas of special interest.
    • Are bathrooms en-suite?
    Yes.
    • Is there a restaurant?
    Yes, they all offer full hotel facilities.  The restaurants serve local specialties as well as international cuisine. The exception to this is the Parador at Hondarribia where there is a restaurant close -by.
    • Is the accommodation suitable for children?
    Children are welcome however, we believe the furniture, furnishings and unprotected drops make them unsuitable for young children.
    • How do we check if accommodation is available?
    Click on the auto request form, complete your requirements and send.
    • Is there is a minimum length of stay?
    No. 
    • Can we hold an option whilst we check flight availability?
    Yes, usually 24 hours.
    • What is the price?
    Exactly the same as charged by the Parador direct.
    • What are the payment terms?
    Normal hotel terms.
    • What is the method of payment?
    Cash or credit card -  any bank charges are to be paid by the guest.
    Personal cheques are not accepted.
    • What dos the rate cover?
    Price is for the accommodation only.  Breakfast and taxes are extra. 
    • Can I pay by credit card?
    Yes.
    • How do I guarantee my reservation?
    By faxing your credit card authority.
    • What services are included?
    Accommodation, linen and use of communal facilities. 
    • What is not included?
    Meals, taxes, room service etc.  Beach/pool towels are not included so please bring your own.
    • Can you arrange extra beds?
    Larger family rooms are sometimes available.  Please enquire for details.
    • Late arrival?
    If expected arrival time is later than 6.00 pm, please advise the Parador direct.
    • What are the cancellation charges?
    Cancellation is free of charge if made 48 hours prior to arival.
    • Who are you?
    We are The Manor Houses of Portugal Promotions  We assist our clients with the promotion of their accommodation.  Click on the name for further details. We are paid a separate fee by the accommodation provider for our services and appearing on the sites.
    • Do we need visas for Spain?
    Usually yes, if you reside outside the European Union. Apply to your local Consulate and allow plenty of time for the application to be processed.
    • Do I need a passport/ID card?
    Yes, and please ensure your passport covers the dates of travel.
    • Can we take pets?
    Pets are not allowed.
    • Are air flights included?
    No.  The price is for accommodation only allowing you to obtain the cheapest flights available.
    • How do I hire a car?

    • When is high and low season?
    High Season is generally from July to October and Easter.  Certain Paradores (e.g. in Tenerife and skiing areas) have different dates.
