In the Gran Rey valley, in the night of Saint John experience the festivities with the traditional offering of the flowers. Held on October 2 there is the Feast of Virgen de Guadalupe in Puntallana which is near the Parador itself. Visit Garajonay National Park which is declared a World Heritage site.

| The Parador is set on the so-called Lomo de la Horca, to the right of the avenue which links the San Sebastian quay with the town, 60 m above sea level. The island is reached by boat or plane from Puerto de los Cristianos in Tenerife and Gran Canaria. |
