was designed by Tom Simpson, the architect of Turnberry and Muirfield courses
in Scotland, and opened in 1925.
The decoration of the living rooms, the lobby and the dining room are of light tones that are characteristic of the Costa del Sol area. Among the dishes of the Parador® restaurant, the following are recommended:
Besides the menu with the regional dishes. there is a special menu for those on a gluten free diet. While visiting Malaga try not to miss the cathedral, the Alcazaba (fortress), the Roman Theatre, and Picasso‘s birthplace. Try to visit also the towns of Mijas, Marbella, Ronda and Nerja. Walk from the hotel to Torremolinos.
Do not miss the much acclaimed Goya-style bullfighting which takes place every 9th of September in the town of Ronda. If you are a golf fanatic then you have come to the right place! This sport has given the name to the Parador® itself, placing it on the circuit of the best European tournaments. Make use of the seasonal swimming pool and the two tennis courts. If you have a lot of friends, there is a full size football pitch at the Parador®. In the area you may go sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, hiking and hang gliding.
The rooms also have a telephone, satellite television, safe and a mini bar.
